YANKEE DAY

Post by YANKEE on Tue 02 Jul 2013, 6:42 pm

HEYYYY!!! The Flag Football United Nations Have Spoken....

A letter was sent to the CEO of he most hated, diverse, decorated team on the East Coast to declare the 1st weekend in July YANKEES DAY!!!

Dear Yankees CEO,
I am writing you with excellent news which will be followed with great responsibility. Over the last for years the Yankees have been the Underdog of every league and/or tournament that they participated in. Respect never came easy but you and your team did not only demand it, but you earned and took it! Not only have you become a feared team on and off the field but the personal battles within the team being un coached, until the most recent hiring of a prestigious coach, has been handled very well. The maturity of this diverse group is amazing and deserves the highest praise, so we, THE United Nations Of Flag Football, mark the 1st Saturday of July (except for years that Independence Day falls on a Saturday), YANKEE DAY! Encourage your friends and fans to wear your colors and be proud of your accomplishments... You Earned IT! Yankees Salute!

Signing Off,
President Barack Obama
